We are excited to welcome two incredible keto moms to the Keto Hope Foundation board—bringing both personal experience and passion for our mission.

Maggie May
Maggie is a mom of two, and her daughter Reese’s journey with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) led her to the ketogenic diet. After trying nine anti-epilepsy drugs without success, Reese began keto at age two—and went from 100 seizures a day to zero within a week. Now over six years seizure-free, Maggie has seen firsthand how life-changing the ketogenic diet can be and is committed to helping more families discover hope through keto. You may know her as @myketokid1 on Instagram!

Moira Geraghty Schneider
Moira is the proud mother of a child who used the ketogenic diet for six years to successfully manage epilepsy. An educator and kindergarten teacher, Moira knows the challenges and triumphs families face when navigating keto therapy. Living in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and a lovable lab, she is dedicated to supporting families while advancing the Keto Hope Foundation’s mission: empowering and guiding families through the healing power of ketogenic therapy.

Together, Maggie and Moira bring heart, wisdom, and lived experience to our community—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them on our team! 💜

In 2025, we’re taking Keto Caregiver to the next level—setting clear goals, refining research, and ensuring family voices lead the way. From IRB approvals to parent interviews, this program is built on collaboration, compassion, and advancing meaningful caregiver support.

⭐ Keto Community

Our Keto Community is growing into a vibrant hub where families connect through message boards, Q&As, and age-based groups. With new features to make your family matches and ideas for kid-to-kid connections, this is your space to share, learn, and thrive together.

⭐ Keto Education

We’re revamping Keto Education to make resources more practical, engaging, and accessible. Look forward to fresh blogs, handouts, and clinician roundtables—plus new parent-focused sessions tackling real-life challenges like travel, holidays, and school support.

⭐ Keto Kits

The beloved Keto Kits program is expanding! With 75 kits already delivered, we’re refining content, cutting costs, and boosting donations so more families can receive these essential tools. A new feedback loop and updated application process will make the program stronger than ever.
